Description

Future Forest is the largest electronic music festival east of Montreal. I'm part of the lighting team for one of the three stages, called Prism. I work with Wasko AV to help with the lighting design, installation, programming, and operation during the festival. 

My main role is to design the layout and install the addressable LED (Clen) bars. In 2024 I worked with a team of 3-4 volunteers to install 95m (double the 50m we used in 2023) of LED bars, maximizing the 10 controllers and limited cable runs available. I assist in programming, troubleshooting, and operating the lights during the festival, as well as teardown duties. 

Technical Details

Lighting control achieved through Resolume. Communication through Artnet. Live control through combination of MA console and Midi controller - APC40.
